In the News: ITS America Appoints Matkowski to Board of Directors
The Intelligent Transportation Society of America (ITS America) recently appointed Laurie Matkowski, PMP, to its board of directors. A long-time ITS leader, Matkowski once served as ITS Pennsylvania president, currently represents ITS America on the National Operations Center of Excellence (NOCoE) as vice chair of the Technical Advisory Committee, and has served on several ITS America committees, including Digital Infrastructure and Mobility on Demand.
The ITS America board consists of representatives from departments of transportation, transit agencies, and other industry leaders who establish policies and direct strategies for the organization.
Established in 1991, ITS America strives “to be the leading voice advocating for the scaled deployment of innovative transportation technology through policy, thought leadership, and developing a diverse workforce.”
