In the News: Sandia Creek Bridge over Santa Margarita River

Gannett Fleming will play a pivotal role as the construction manager for the new Sandia Creek Bridge over the Santa Margarita River in Fallbrook, California, for nonprofit client California Trout.
The $21 million project will protect culturally sensitive areas by eliminating the concrete culvert crossing and replacing it with a steel bridge that will provide unobstructed access for endangered steelhead trout to reach their spawning and rearing habitat in the headwaters of the creek. The project will contribute to the protection of the region’s unique aquatic habitat and the sustainability of its natural resources. Construction is set to begin in the spring of 2024.
