In the News: Bazán-Arias and Glogowski Published in Deep Foundations Magazine
The Deep Foundations Institute published a technical article by Senior Consultant Catherine Bazán-Arias, PhD, PE, PMP, and Senior Consultant and Project Manager Philip Glogowski, PE, in the September/October issue of its Deep Foundations magazine. Bazán-Arias and Glogowski are with DiGioia Gray, a part of Gannett Fleming. In the article, they discuss the methodology they developed to optimize the design and implementation of stiffened, cylindrical fiber-reinforced polymer deep foundations. Their method offers the construction industry an alternative to traditional deep foundations.
