John Derr leads the firm’s Roadway Corporate Business Group, where he oversees North American projects involving planning and environmental studies, preliminary engineering, and final design of highways and interchanges, bridges and tunnels, and tolling and managed lane projects.
Derr brings a demonstrated track record of providing executive oversight of large, complex transportation projects and ensuring their successful delivery.
He has spent his entire career with Gannett Fleming, offering his exceptional industry knowledge to our trusted clients for more than three decades. Under Derr’s leadership, Gannett Fleming has transformed North American transportation infrastructure from coast to coast.
A licensed professional engineer in five states, Derr previously served as president of the ASHE Harrisburg and Sonoran Sections and the president of the ARTBA Planning and Design Division.
