Andrew “Andy” Gillespie oversees Gannett Fleming’s Transit & Rail Corporate Business Group, directing challenging and high-profile projects, including planning, design, construction services, and operations, across North America.

Gillespie is dedicated to innovation and sustainability in transportation and delivers essential vision and leadership for the team. A recognized industry leader with more than three decades of transit and rail experience, he brings a demonstrated track record of developing new clients, forging key partnerships, successfully leading major project pursuits, and ensuring we deliver excellence for our clients.

Previously, Gillespie served as the chief engineer at a prominent transit agency, where he honed his expertise in managing and overseeing large-scale transportation initiatives. In this role, he played a pivotal role in developing the state of good repair program and energy utilization programs, further solidifying his reputation as an industry thought leader and trailblazer.
