Shawna Zachman is responsible for leading the firm’s integrated enterprise business development lifecycle and successfully managing the Business Development Lifecycle Program (BDLP). She has a proven track record of building positive client engagement and setting successful growth strategies while also exemplifying a commitment to employee mentoring and building a collaborative culture.

Zachman sets the strategic path for Gannett Fleming’s brand and our business development, marketing, and communications functions. She directs the successful management of the firm’s Client Relationship Management (CRM) system , which supports the BDLP and facilitates the use of best practices for business development companywide.

With nearly 30 years of industry experience, Zachman joined Gannett Fleming in 2019 after leading business development, marketing, and creative services support for the water and program management business lines at a global infrastructure firm. Over the course of her career, she has worked in the transportation, energy, earth sciences, buildings, oil and gas, power, and water sectors.
