In the News: Dominiecki, Reber, and Namatka Discuss Lehigh Valley Reconstruction in ASHE Scanner

Photo courtesy of Urban Engineers.Over the past 90 years, State Route (SR) 100 in Lehigh County, Pennsylvania, has grown into an integral transportation network for the region’s industrial and commercial businesses.

In a recent American Society of Highway Engineers (ASHE) Scanner article, Principal Project Manager Thomas Dominiecki, PE, PTOE, Senior Project Engineer Matthew Reber, PE, and Chief Geotechnical Engineer Frank Namatka, PE, discuss the award-winning SR 100 reconstruction project, which enhances sustainability and facilitates safer, more efficient travel through the corridor. Gannett Fleming partnered with the Pennsylvania Department of Transportation to design 1.36 miles of the roadway’s reconstruction, addressing the 20% truck traffic with rut-resistant pavement and improving roadway drainage.
